New Exhaust

Hey guys just a quick question, I've just taken delivery of my spoon N1 and I'm going to fit it this afternoon but am just wondering if there are any issues big or small I should watch out for during fittment?

Thanks in advance.

was it supplied with shoulder bolts? when i fitted my backbox the holes were smaller where the shoulder fits through but except that i didn't have any issues

The OEM exhaust hangers were a tw@ to get off too

Part number 16

oh yeah I've seen these before, I guess the shoulder is a touch wider than the holes in the n1 then, did u have to drill them out to accommodate the bolts properly?

i decided to reduce the sholuder of the bolt, drilling stainless steel is a bar steward, i put the bolt into a pillar drill and used a nice rough file to quickly reduce its diameter.

You could open up the holes in the backbox, but i hate drilling stainless steel so try anything to avoid having to do it

ok nice one thanks for the advise, I know someone who works at a garage with specialist drills n stuff so if it comes to increasing the diameter of the holes I should be ok. but I'll try giving the bolts a quick filing down first.

Again thanks for the advice bud!
