Any chance of getting something to warn you when you reply if someone else has posted since you opened the thread?

Sometimes I answer something and find I've been beaten to it and this would mostly avoid it

A 'this thread had been updated since the last reply' type affair after you click submit. Allowing you to review your reply before you do so

Thats it, it shouldn't add too much load to the server as its only 1 extra query to the database

I find these annoying if you're posting in a busy thread. If you decide to go down this route, it would be nice to have the option of turning it on or off.

Thats what the delete post option is for
