FN2 New proud owner of fn2 type r!

Hi guys! First of all I want to let you all know (not that don't already) but I love the type r!!!! My previous car was a Mazda rx8, a money pit but I loved it! Now I have a new love in my life!!!

Do any of your type r veterans have any useful starting out tips??? E.g. Shutting down engine (the rx8 was a nightmare you had to hold the revs to 3k for 10sec prior to turning off!!!) how long should it take to start up and do you keep the push button held until it starts? And any other useful tips!

Start it
Let the oil warm up
Try to rev to 14,000
Go home
Repeat

Yes you just hold the button until it starts, like you'd hold the key in position 3 if it could turn that far.

As per Daz, just let it warm up properly (5-10 minutes of normal driving) then wring its neck!
