Air box rub has been stopped, put the spare rubber seal i cut away to fit in their.

Just ordered these:

And intend to combine with Motul RBF600 fluid as advised by SicklyPilot. My old GTi had braided lines, new fluid and some red stuff pads and brakes superbly, so I don't see why this won't. Ferrodo pads the only thing i'm lacking.

Quite happy, first car i've modified myself, last one was done already.

Getting tempted to something more drastic though, exhaust or lowering springs. I just know from experience, both will heavily compromise the daily commute and ruin the practicality of the car. Too loud and harsh = pain in the arse.

I'd really like to do my first track day though.
