Another update

This time i have managed to get a couple of jobs tricked off the very long list i have for the ep3..first job get the brake calipers painted the previous owner before i brought the car had replaced all the calipers on the car but unfortunately i have lost the tyre r logo on the front calipers due to going for after market calipers ...does this bother me... not a bit as i have new calipers and that's more important. The previous owner did install hell braided brake lines all round which is a bonus..

Next job was to replace the stock shifter box bushes... The new ones are solid compared to the original ones and this makes the gear change a lot more precise.

More parcels have arrived

So this morning i had a few parcels arrive and with the weather being nice decide to spend some more time on the car and get them fitted ..so other day i fitted some k tuned shifter bushes to the Ep3 which is great and stops any excess lateral movement... So to accompany that i have brought a short shift linkage from ebay only cost £44 and has reduced the gear throw by 30% which is awesome.

next job was to replace the rear upper arms ...mine were rusty and looking worn but no excess play not bad for a original part that's been on the car for 12 years....thought about getting some adjustable ones but decided against it in the end trying to keep it as oem as i can. Anyway brought a new pair of rear arms from japserviceparts.com great company with next day delivery.

Last of all team heko wind deflectors i have had these on all my civics i'm a big fan....job done!

Any reason you didn't go adjustable upper arms for the rear? It's nice to see them clean and tidy, but no FRSU for you :(

Hi Mike yeah I thought about it but decided against it in the end..yeah I know no Frsu but trying to stay as oem as I can

Another update

Managed to get a few more things done to the EP3 had a few parcels arrive the weekend along with a trip to Honda to get a few bits which included a new set of wiper arms which cost a small fortune .Also manged to get some new pedal rubbers and new bolts for my airbox as i have decided to replace the original lower section after modification and fit an S2000 air filter which i know has been done loads before ..i guess it not really for performance but sounds great and it's oem.

Nice work on the headlights. Looks great.

Did mine the other week. Makes such a difference and we'll worth the effort.

Thanks guys for the kind comments .....it's much appreciated

New K&N S2000 Filter

Collected my new air filter from euro car parts the other day has they were on special offer ..decided to replace the standard S2000 air filter which has a paper element for something a bit more robust in the shape of a S2000 k&N filter. The filter itself looks and feels the part well made and also ties in better with the engine bay... also on a plus note it seems to flow air better..
