Not entirely sure how to describe the issue other than it seems like the ignition is being cut over and over

Faulty alternator perhaps?

I would agree, but, if you notice, its like the ignition circuit is cutting, before i even try to start it up.... would have thought if it was the alternator that it wouldn't do this before I try and start it
