FN2 Notchy/Knocking Clutch

Just starting to experience a problem with my clutch.

Sometimes when you fully depress the clutch you can hear and feel and notch/knocking towards the end of travel.

Gladly I don't think its associated with the hyrdaulic Clutch mechanism itself, because when I looked the pluncher is fully extended well before the end of travel of the pedal (and the knocking noise)

So I think its just the moving mechanism of the pedal itself.

Has anyone had a similar problem.
I'll be taking it to the dealers soon, but always good to get some experience of anyone with similar issues.

Update:

When I had a further look the first pluncher is only related to the cruise control. To sense if the clutch has been depressed at which point it will disengage the cruise control.

Its quite a big assembly for a simple micro-switch

So the car went to the dealers today, and they have identified that it needs a new master cylinder. Just awaiting the warranty approval:evil:
