OEM Airbox Removal - Help!

Hi,

Bought a new induction kit, however to my shock having problems removing the small bolt/screws to remove the lid as the seem sort of seized.

I tried using a screwdriver didnt work and also a drill which didnt, as for the larger bolts actually holding the whole airbox down i cant get access to them.

I noticed there is one large gold bolt on the right and at the back quite a smaller bolt.

I was told i need a socket set and extension, i bought this will this do the job?

you dont have to remove the lid of the Airbox just remove the nuts and bolts around the Airbox. And yes that socket set should do the trick

I believe there is a bolt on the inside of the airbox to be removed?

Will try WD-40 on the small bolts holding the lid on as they appear rusty and seized.

Biggest concern is that there is enough extension in that wee kit i bought for access to the bolts.

i removed my air box a few days ago mate and there was no bolt inside the airbox that had to be removed from my one?? i never even took the lid off at all

Even better, so looks like i just have to remove the large gold one on the right and the really small one at the back.

Cheers.

no problem mate its a bit tight getting the box out the engine bay but its easy enough done... good luck !
