Nice one mate. Good to see an EP3 being spruced up! :)

Another easy mod which makes it look so much better if yours are like it are the grab handles. Usually scratched to pieces. Bit of a respray job and looks loads better :)

Well today I de-badged my car of the Civic and Type-R badges.

Also, as I'm going down the purple themed route and one of the stickers of the sideskirts were missing anyway, I decided to remove the remaining one and put some purple site stickers there instead :)

Also does anyone know where I can get purple badges made for the grill, steering wheel and boot?

Also got a passenger wing to replace my dented one, so will be fitting that tomorrow.

Booked in for a service at Honda on Monday, then it'll be brakes and I can start modding properly !

My new daily, EP3

Had my service & health check monday!

Quite a list haha..

NS brake light (done)
Front gearbox mount split
Top idler pulley noisey and belt perished
Brake and clutch fluid need replacing
Needs new discs and pads
Play in osf drop link
Nsf and osf bushes split

Looks like I got some work to do haha..

On another note, went to bedford Saturday night to wash my car for fast show and ended up bumping into this lovely imported EK9! Was surprised how quick they are.. Nice little play up the A6 haha.

I'm very interested in your colour scheme. Purple and black is the route I'd very much like to go down (Not to be a copy cat lol!) Didn't know you could change colour of all the Honda badges? How did you go about that?
Also great to see the Skunk gearknob - Already come across them before I brought my car this week so seeing as you've given it positive reviews I'll definitely be investing in one of them myself.
Loving the build thread also - Watching you transform it from the poor state it was in. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! There's a guy on Facebook who makes the badges! There just gel stickers that go on top of the badges, can choose which ever colour you want..

Well a couple of updates, my handbrake had seen better days so I got a new one and also hand sprayed the wheels satin black just to see what they'd look like before I got them refurbed and I'm definitely happy with black!

Handbrake before (excuse the dirty floor.. pic was taken when i first got the car!)

Well this was only meant to be my daily but its so much fun that I ended up losing interest in the Nova.. So now the novas been sold to a guy in Ireland, so I have some money to play with!

Ordered a Tegiwa induction kit so thats on the way but I'm undecided on what to do now.. Do I spend my money respraying this and modifying it more? Or do I only buy bits for it that I can take off and save for a low mileage already clean ep3?

Fitted my Tegiwa intake today, by far my fav mod, pretty sure I cut the scuttle too much but oh well it works, sounds amazing and feels more responsive! Definitely recommend it!

Although I'll miss the whistle (video below) I think it sounds much better now! The intake drowns the whistle out so I can only hear it a tiny bit

Great progress mate! Evo enkeis are a great choice, going purple?

Sorry to hear the nova is gone, but I do understand completely! As long as the engine, gearbox and bodyshell are sound then you may as well continue with this one. They're really quite cheap to fix and maintain if you don't mind getting your hands dirty. However, I'd recommend having a really good look for corrosion before committing, they're starting to get to that age now.
