Alright people, your probably thinking what the hell, a fiesta, well its my mums 
Just a quick question, how important is a heat shield that goes over the top of the exhuast on the underside of the car floor and will it fail MOT without one.
Thing is she just rang me up and got me to meet her, as she thought exhuast had fell off! I had a quick look and turns out that the fixings screws or grommets have rusted and basically the heat shield has fell off. Not a massive job to fix myself, though was just wondering how nessecasry it is to have one. She doesn't drive it much at all, probably about 50 miles a week tops.
