EP3 Part Identification

Could someone please tell what this part in the pictures is please?

What car is it? Is it an EP3? Was it located under the inlet manifold?

It looks like a sensor, possibly knock sensor but more info would be helpful.

Aye that’s the knock. They have a habit of doing that.

Thank you. Yes Ep3. It was behind the inlet manifold bracket.

Yeah thats the one, I remember mine doing that and my mates on his EP3 funny enough, definitely a common fault.
