petrol flap

Does anybody know if there is some adjustments on the petrol flap, we are having some trouble opening it at times.

Slack in the cable or is it just frozen?

mine did this a few times. best way around it i found was get someone to try to open it with a bank card ect at the same time someone pulls the flap

not frozen it was doing this before the cold weather. Asking somebody to help is ok for me but if it's my wife on her own at a fuel station ? You just don't know who you are talking to these days.

Had a similar problem a few years ago, and had to have the cable replaced (under warranty).

If it gets stuck you can open it from an access panel in the boot. IIRC there is a diagram in the manual.

Could be that the cable and/or the release for the flap just needs a bit of lube.
