I recently acquired a Honda Civic Type r 2004 ep3. However, i have noticed at the bottom of the centre section of the steering wheel, where it joins the main wheel, there is a gap where i can see inside the steering wheel. I imagine it should be a snug fit. But, it's started to concern me, as the SRS light is on at the moment. (My father-in-law said it could have been from low voltage on the poor battery i've just replaced, but light still on).
Could someone have been messing around with it and not put the steering wheel back on properly? i'm not mechanically minded, but it's just had new track rods, clutch and gearbox removal for bushes. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
