Problem with my mate's ep3

Hi Chaps,

Just wondering if you can help my friend who's been having problems with his ep3 as of yesterday / today...

The scenario is as follows (copy and paste from his email):

This is the sequence of events that appear to have killed my car!

1) Used immobiliser to open door and got in
2) Turned key but nothing at all, not even a tick over
3) Alarm goes off
4) All immobilisers (I have 2) didn’t work and the doors would not lock and alarm would not stop
5) Tried locking door with key but that didn’t stop alarm going off
6) Open bonnet and put the battery on charge
7) This then made the immobilisers work which turned the alarm off
8) The battery appeared to be charged anyway which was strange and it appears to charge normally when the engine is on
9) Now the fans and heaters appear to have stopped working

None of the heaters / cooling works at all!!

Car is a 52 plate silver ep3 with A/C (completely standard bar tints).

Check all fuses.

Thanks for the reply Chris, my mate has checked all fuses and they are ok... he's taking it to the garage tomorrow for further investigation!

2 immobilisers? I'd guess it's a problem with one of them which is preventing the car from turning over, I'm assuming one immobiliser is aftermarket?
