Rattling from front end when shifting gears.

Hi all Ive just purchased my '52 CTR :D

I've noticed a rattling from front end when shifting gears, or tapping the accelerator, but its more noticebale before the engine is properly warmed up. feels like something is loose or a possible suspension issue - maybe bushes?

the same noise can be heard when driving slowly e.g. out of a car park.

any help and advice will be much appreciated :)

Maybe a loose shield or Vtec cover - how would I go about getting this fixed? Garage labour rates kinda exceed my budget right now.

Try removing the intake manifold cover and see if that's the problem! If so just keep it removed :)

Unfortunately the squeak / rattle has returned. It is most prominent when releasing the clutch from 2nd to 3rd gear change. Thinking it could be a clutch issue, although I've read it could also be engine mounts or even the fan belt? Has anyone experienced the same problem? This Honda is becoming increasingly expensive :(

this sqeak is intermittent

happens when shifting at low revs

any one experienced this? any help appreciated before i go down the garage?

Thanks for your replies. I believe it is coming from the front of the car.
It can be heard quite obviously from inside almost like a rattle/sqeak at the same time.

It doesnt happen when holding revs although when changing gears (except into 5 & 6 ) it can be heard.

It is intermittent and today has been ok although been taking it steady lately?

its annoying though - am considering selling the car at a reduced price unless can fix cheap

Cheers
