Rear lights facelift to pre facelift conversion.

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if they was a definite answer on swapping the rear lights from the pre-facelift to the facelift car.

I did see a thread on this forum where I know it's been done but no one confirmed if it was just plug and play or a bit more complicated.

If anyone knows please help me out as I really hate the rear lights on my car!

You will want the wiring ,, just cut and solder

Is that the only way? I am not the handiest of people lol and would rather have chrome lights than no lights!

If so is they a guide anywhere?

There may well be but imnot sure,, its really easy but you will want wiring and bulb holders with the old style lights

It is easy i have done it to mine.
Its 2 holders you need to change.
Buy lights with all holders with wires left on.
You will see which need changing.
The wire colours on mine were the same so just cut test and solder.
If your not happy soldering then you could use crimp connectors.

I was lucky on ebay a set came up with holders with wires still on.
If you ask *** who are breaking a prefacelift they will sort you out
