FN2 Rear shock Linkages

I'm looking at an FN2 and on the MOT it says

nearside rear Shock absorber has a slightly worn linkage (2.7.4)
offside rear Shock absorber has a slightly worn linkage (2.7.4)

the car is lowered on 35mm Eibach springs will this be the problem and how big of a problem is the linkages ?

I'm assuming the linkages would be the bushes, because an FN2 doesn't have a rear anti-roll bar because of the torsion beam.

Those Eibachs won't have caused the problem but they can cause the front driveshafts to rub if compressed the right (wrong) way!

I'd guess so yes, but it's hardly a linkage...
