Removal of Scratches

Really does depend on how deep the scratches are to be honest mate.

If they're light surface scratches a couple of passes with a rotary will get them out, I'd shy away from a touch up pen like that as you'll always end up with a raised surface. Which more often than not looks worse (close up at any rate) than the previous mark.

NHB is a great colour waxed and polished up, but invariably you will have to suffer stone chips. Particularly at the front end, it's a bit of a given sadly.

Personally I'd get it done properly, and get it sprayed professionally. Or live with it, all depends on how bad the scratch is. If it's long and deep (oo-er) then you might as well bite the bullet and get the panel done and then blended with it's mating panels.
