Moving steering wheel to top position (how i have it anyway).
Undo the 3 screws underneath. (remember the short one goes nearest the bottom.)
Gently separate the bottom from the top piece. (held together with tabs).
Then i dropped the handle to adjust the coloumn and slid the lower plastic gently off and around.
Fitting is same as reverse.
It meant I could get a socket with extention onto the nut holding the stereo facia in. But I might buy a spare one to put my sony remote stick on.
Just be patient, take it easy and you'll be fine.
