Removing Dash Scratches

Anyone know of a good way to remove scratches from the black section of the dashboard, I've got a few that are quite visable and wouldn't mind having a go at removing them if its possible. :wink:
 
Polishing them up removed some of mine...they werent major scratches though.

I just bought some dashboard polish, wiped it over a few times...and it built up..and now i cant see them 8)
