hey guys,

looking at the ebay reverse cameras since they are cheap (under $100 easily) .. since I have a double din output, might as well test it out, anyone used/purchased an ebay reverse camera before - please share!

I like this is that its a direct bolt on without drilling two holes into my bumper. Only downsides is the LED lights dont look as strong as the original and it may not shine properly.

I'm also looking at other universal options like:

It doesnt have an LED, but this option means i be retaining the original bulb anyways.

I have no experience with reverse camera's but personally, I would go for your first choice there because as you say, its cheap and doesn't require any drilling. If it doesn't work very well, sell it and go for the other one :)

In my opinion of course ;)

Have one on the fire truck... Hate the damn thing, good gimmick but the view due to lens on the cameras are not the best esp when dirty

I was looking for a camera for my rear view as i have limo black rear tints and is sometimes difficult to see who is behind me at night time.

with the tints you can be having a bit of a exhilarating drive with the person behind you up until their blue lights start flashing.

mines alpine though and i don't think these cameras would fit the connections.

The ebay ones should be fine, I bought one of these about a year ago from ebay think I payed £15 for it and its worked fine since. I mounted it just to the left of the number plate lights just under the lip and used some silicone sealant to hold it in place (atleast that way you can remove it and dont need to drill any holes)
