Rubber gear gaitor and chrome ring????

Can anyone supply :

The rubber gear gaitor with the chrome rings on either end.

Not many scrap yards have them, cant find anyone who has one spare or is breaking a CTR.

Can any traders supply them?

Honda dont sell the chrome rings seperately, and apparently the whole unit is stupid and like £117 :shock:

Rich when i put mine in to have the rear washer motor replaced the other day they noticed mine was loose and fitted a new locking ring for me under warranty.

Thats the bit that keeps the gaitor tight under the top chrome ring.

The rubber gear gaitor plus the top chrome ring and the locking clip is £38
from Honda for a CTR.

I have the chrome ring that fits on the silver dash lower panel that locks the rubber gaitor at the bottom spare.

Cant really see myself spending £38 just to get the chrome rings :? Guess i'll have to hold out until a scrapped ctr comes up :/
