Scrapping noise

When I'm slowing down i here a scrapping like noise from the front breaks, but its not continuous( noise, stop noise, stop) :roll:

Does this mean my disc are warped?

I have an 4 month old, 05 with 1000 miles on the clock,

Would it be under warranty?

Could just be crap in the pads.... i'd try a few emergency stops from 60+ (on an empty road) to try and clean them up. :wink:

If the discs are warped then you'll normally feel it coming through the steering wheel along with the whole car vibrating.

Do as Neily suggested, this should cure it.
