IMO, I'm sure a lot of you will agree, putting a short registration on any car really helps with the overall look and also sets the car apart. It can complete the look of the car, especially those with body kits and lots of exterior mods. I don't mean a smaller plate, but the actual registration.
The older style registrations are better than the new format because they can have just 5 characters, and the old, old formats even better (e.g. 1 CTR or CTR 1). Any reg with a 1 in tends to be shorter still. If you have a short reg, putting it on a smaller plate can also look good, but will attract attention from police.
