Always wanted one of these beauties, a dream come true to own one.
Managed to find this gem, 1 owner from new, under 100K, full Honda stamped history, completely unmodified...... so far!

Needs some tlc on the body work to remove a few minor scratches, but thankfully I know this man well http://www.f1valet.com/
Going to do a full valet inside and out including upholstry and engine bay detailing..... she's going to shine like new!

Off to Honda for a full service, going to change the spark plugs myself, then off for a full diagnostics check and rolling road to she how she's doing.

Can anyone advise a good place to get the alloys refurbed, there are a few scuffs and rust bobbles and i think i'd like them to come back in gun metal grey!

If anyone has any preliminary Noob tips I'm all ears!

Looks pretty tidy that!

Main newbie tip is check the oil level and regularly! They do like to use a bit and although the engines may generally be bullet proof, they don't last long once the oil level goes past min on the dipstick.

Thank you, will make sure I do. Great site too, so much useful info tucked away on here!

Can you advise where I could get a less restrictive SS exhaust, that looks the same as the standard exhaust at the outlet so looks standard from appearance?

You'll struggle to get one dual tipped like OEM. I think Piper do one or you could get one custom made.

The back box itself isn't that restrictive though, so you could replace the b-pipe with a 2.5" one and that would flow better.

Something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262103529558

It will make the exhaust note a lot thoatier too.

Have a look on my thread i had a cobra backbox fitted that gave the standard look. As Loxy says though b-pipe would be the first to change.

Thanks guys, will look into these options as soon as I've got the service done, will be sure to take some close up before and after shots of the full valet and detailing coming its way too.

Your cars all look mint! Do you arrange regular track days? I can see on the threads there is a jap car meet coming up soon in sept, but dont think I'll make that... will try though!

Hello and welcome to the forum mate
I have these on car and running for over 1 year now

Have just been quoted a very good amount for custom stainless steel cat back system....

However i now have a few questions...

The standard (so im told) is a 1.75" diameter bore pipe, and if i go with this size it should sound not too loud as the extra power is from the free flowing silencers? Is this correct?

Also I would like to upgrade to a piper manifold and sports cat, i can see that the sports cat is 2.5" does this mean i have to then have a 2.5" exhaust??

Cheers Guys
