slight knocking/tapping

i have a slight knocking sound from what sounds like the bottom of the engine when warm after a good run, literally only very slight...this is my first honda so dont know if this is normal or not.

after a good run or when the engine is hot at the bottom of the engine could be a big end issue

Big end or main shells probably.

What oil has it got in it?

It could be too thin and get even thinner when hot.

indeed. sound does resonate too so it could be from the top end, have you used a listening stick??? to determine where the noise is definitely coming from?
