Slight ticking from engine when idle

Hey guys owned my CTR for nearly 4 months now and have noticed a slight ticking noise when the car is just stationary running. I keep a close eye on my oil levels and other fluids and they're fine? This just normal?


Edit* im pretty sure it's not tappets as that's what happend when my old car blew up
 
The valve clearances on CTRs need checking every 25k miles.

However ticking noise on idle tends to be the injectors.

Absolutely normal and not usually anything to worry about if your valve clearances have been checked on schedule.
 
Ok then thanks, the car has a pretty impressive service record so just me being paranoid lol thanks again.
 
Id say injectors. They do get noisy.
Other thing is the LMA's but thats nothing to really worry about and similar to tappet noise
