Slightly hard to change gear

Messages

I changed the gearbox fluid and clutch fluid over the weekend and I have noticed that my biting point is quite low, I find it hard to change gear when giving it beans (foot down) Is this me not being used to the car and changing to slow or could it be the clutch, I have done the clutch test about 4 times and it did't spin up. The most akward gear is second it doesn't always want to go in :smt104
Thanks si ;)

Clutch on it's way out.. Your symptoms are well documented on here. ;)

The gear box mesh might not have been changed on the recall. Mine needed a new gearbox and a clutch at 50k as the 6th gear is too big for the gear box causing 2nd gear to wear out prematurely

I spoke to honda and they said there was no such recall :(
I got the clutch changed at my local garage last week, the gear changes are alot better.

no not at all, I got it done for £420 + vat works out at about £480

TGM wanted £440 and avonvale honda in coventry wanted £540
