Spacers

What's the difference between the hub centric and other types of spacers? I believe the first is better but I'm not sure why?

Hub centric fit on your hub's cents bore snugly like your wheel would, and replicate the hub centre lip on the face that meets your wheel.

Therefore are much less likely to move or slip than spacers that are just a flat piece of metal.

If you go for slip ons, don't go over 10mm, you'll be using far too much of the thread up to make a secure connection with the lugs and wheel bolts. Hubcentric spacers will allow you to go with massive sizes as, like Loxy says, they act like a hub. I've got 35mm for my front wheels on my Skyline with a matching centre bore, the wheels I have sit perfectly.
