Speakers!!!

Hi guys im new to the whole forum thing! Ive recently bought a CTR '54 plate' and im up for modding it a little but my main issue (as i drive to work 22miles each way) is that the oem speakers have rubbish bass IMO! Ive changed the HU to a sony bluetooth stereo out of my old cars and so upgrading the speakers are a must!

Ive got an issue with some speakers as i like the look of them and the specs for the price but will they fit?

The ones ive found are these for the front:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VIBE-BLAC...SetTopBoxes&hash=item25681b185c#ht_1298wt_689

And the ones for the rear:
http://a12u.co.uk/store_main.asp?in...category_id=0&int_page=16&int_product_id=3809

Ive been told its best to fit components in the front with coaxials in the rear hence the choices but could i just get 2 of the ones from ebay as they are 2 way (and cheaper :D)? As ive seen somewhere that these type of speakers are both component and coaxial!!! But i dont have a clue what the difference is!

Im going to buy some adapters aswell so i dont butcher the oem wires, but with these speakers will i need adapters to help fit them?

Sorry about all the questions, im sure they have all been answered before but like i said im new to forums. Also Ive tried finding a 'how to' guide aswell but the ones ive found all seem to not be recent or with not very good step by step pics

Thanks for having a read in advance and all help would be muchly appreciated

Chids, few answers for you. . . . component speakers have both the tweeter and speaker seperate with a seperate signal box, which must be mounted and all wired to each other. Co-axials are the tweeter mountted within the speeker (you can see from both your links the tweeter in the middle of the co-axial). Co-axials are easier to wire up, as there is much less wiring, its just headunit/amp > speaker.
The front speakers also require a mounting pod due to the magnet (back) of the speaker being to deep, you can search the forum for the correct one or make one, but I think the vauxhall astra one fits. Also if you fit components to the front you will need a seperate tweeter mount, again search the forum for the correct one or in traders ask hendy performance, he can supply OEM honda parts.

You would also be best with a small amp for vibe speakers to get the best from them, but thats alot more wiring.

Dont know if you need adapters as I usually just chop the wires and crimp spade connectors on, with some heat shrink wrap.

You dont need adaptors for the rear speakers but youll need them for the front.

Ive got pioneers in the front and back but there still wasnt enough bass so i wired a sub and amp in the boot and now its perfect.
