Spectres JDM DC2 ITR

Messages

Hi guys,
I've had my fair share of jap cars now, 140 celica, TRD Sports-M Celica, JDM ST205 and a 300zx twin turbo manual but this is my first Honda.
Fallen in love already, it's everything the TRD Sports M was but just done a lot better.
Plans are to keep her similar to what she is now, just a bit more refined.
Journey home was interesting as the drivers side wind deflector tried to dislodge itself at 80 on the motorway, so I had to have my passenger hold onto it through my window until the services...

Lovely example and I know the pictures don't do it justice as they are so much nicer in the metal!

What does the Apexi VAFC controller do?

Apparently it's like a piggyback ecu for air/fuel ratios, I shan't be touching it I'll let eurospec handle that.
It has a Japanese toll card machine which is quite funny, my cars so JDM a Japanese woman shouts at me when I turn it on

Very nice 96 spec, not a big fan of the wheels but everyone to their own! Nice spec too

Good to see a fellow teg owner on here :)

Looks like a very tidy example and everything looks to fit together well. Decent '96 specs are thin on the ground these days.

Those replica ITR decals on the rear quarter are the only thing that lets it down for me, Get some OEM or failing that some Tegiwa ones.

Looks very tidy for a 20 year old car.

I had a toll card reader in my CL1. Always used to grin everytime she spoke to me when I started the engine.

Huh didn't realise they weren't Oem decals.
Have already started a to do list...
New front and rear Honda badges
New rear quarter panel decals
Boot trim
Drivers fusebox cover/compartment
Drivers side mirror trim
OEM electric mirrors
Centre caps for wheels
S2000 aerial
New wheel nuts
Grounding kit for engine
Refurb recaros
New radio
Gearbox and engine oil change
Make bracket for rear seatbelts
Brake inspection, possible refurb
Eurospec check up/tune/dyno

Centre caps wise they're an odd size, I've measured the internal diameter of the wheel as 53mm and external diameter as 57mm.
