Spoon N1 back box ep3

I recently purchased a Spoon N1 back box for my CTR as the original back box started to rattle. As soon as I put it on and started the engine WOAH... Super loud when between 2-3k rpm but sounds amazing when the vtec kicks in. Was talking to a guy a at work who has the same car and also has the N1 back box and he said his isn't loud at all, so he let me have a drive of it and the noise volume is so much less. The whole exhaust system is the same and the back boxes look identical.

Does any one have any ideas why there is so much volume difference?

You probably have an unsilenced B-pipe?

It sounds like it is unsilenced but its has a genuine Honda b-pipe with a silencer
