Squeeking/Whistling brakes

Ive search through other post but couldnt find an answer. Whenever my car is cold, my brakes make a squeeky whistley noise when i apply pressure until i come to a stop. It only last for a minute or so then everytime i brake after that its fine.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this or anyone knows what it could be??

Think my neighbours might not appreciate there new half 5 alarm!!!
 
Mine squeak sometimes but only when i'm being really light on the pedal. Under heavy braking or just tapping the brake, it doesn't do it.

Maybe just a characteristic of the OEM brakes?!
