Steam Cleaner

CJN

Can anyone recommend me a steam cleaner that I can use on my car interior, please?

I looked at cheap supermarket ones, but they just spray out and I want the hoover type so it sucks up the dirt and grime etc.

It needs to have some accessories with it, so I can use it in hard to get to areas.

Thanks. :)

Need one for the carpets and seats.

in all seriousness CJN i bought a vax 6131t from robert dyas for £90 last year for the specific purpose of cleaning up some dirty and stained cloth seats on an interior.

i spent about 8 hours researching and price checking and went with that model because it was universally held in high regard. also very importantly it includes the small upholstery cleaning attachment that is sold seperately for about £20 if you buy just the 6131 hoping to save some cash.

it never fails to do anything less than a magnificent job on car seats and interiors. i can furnish you with specific techniques that i use that give you the best results.

Ah, nice one. I did see this earlier but wasn't to sure about it.

Thanks mayne.

if you don't want to buy one you can rent mine for £30. deposit will be £50 and if it comes back in anything less than the condition it went out at you lose the whole deposit. cheers.

If you are after a decent wet vac, George is a good call..

You don't need a steam cleaner! Just use woolite. Loads of people swear by it on their Recaro's as its gentle on delicate fabrics. Some people take their seats out but this isn't needed. Just do it on a hot day and your seats will dry in 4 or 5 hours...
