Stereo wire help

Messages

Hi,

Sorry for the noob question. I had a Sony head unit and want to wire it in to my EP3.

What adapter/s do I need to fit it before I pull everything out. I have done this in one of my old cars and I had a used an adapter for the wire loom and one for the areal.

Question is what ones (if any) do I need this time?

That goes from the stereo and out into the ISO connectors. Have you got any wires coming out of the stereo already?

This is the one you posted:

The black bit goes into the stereo, the brown and black bits are how you connect it to the car.

Because your car doesn't have the standard ISO connectors, you need an adaptor cable like this:

The black parts go into the brown and black ISO cables in the first picture, the white part goes into the loom that's in your car.

So assuming you have the cable that came with your stereo, you just need the adaptor in the second pic.

And if there are no cables with the stereo, you'll need the one you linked to as well. I'd be surprised if they're not included though.

I have ordered this

Thanks for the help. Had a look at the stereo listing on ebay and it says it comes with the lead. so should be all set!
