Stoo's '03 Artic Blue JRSC DC5

Well, I'm back after a week of smashing up the Marin Trail and surrounding area of North Wales on my other passion, My beautiful Trek Top Fuel :)

First thing I did, Pick up my mail!

Gator back belt 8) 8)
Also, the final bolt I have been waiting for for the JRSC Conversion.

I now have everything I need! Getting closer to the day it's fitted now!

This afternoon I also went to TGM to pick up my beast after leaving her there on Monday.
Many thanks to Tom and the team for a great service yet again.

The clutch feels so much better already! So much more bite, and a lighter pedal!!
Can't wait til it's bedded in properly and I can see what she can handle :)

I was going to wash it today but the weather is pump, so I took all the rear trim out instead.

All I have in the rear now is the rear 1/4 surround trim and the spare wheel/jack/toolkit (til i get some tyre weld!)
The rear 1/4 trim is coming out tomorrow probably, when I will also wash her. Depending if Rodders comes round or not.

I promise i'll get some pics up soon.

Cheers dude :)

Worked out some PtW ratios today

As it stands, taking in to account roughly 300bhp when the jrsc is on, power to weight will be roughly;

With driver(1160kg) - 258.6 bhp/ton

Without driver(c.1080kg) - 277.8 bhp/ton!!

To compare roughly...

Focus RS MK2 - 208.5
R26.R - 189.05
996 GT3 RS - 286.4
R8 V8 - 267.9
E60 M5 - 274.9
NSX-R - 264
GTR Spec-V (R35) - 288.5

Interesting......

She got cleaned!!!

Pics later.

On another note, considering selling the seats and putting the recaros back in.

I love the corbeaus, but they are a pain to live, and also, if I ever come to sell up, I think it would sell easier with the recaros.

The front end is coming off today to begin the JRSC conversion :D

No.

Blue was an option
On the JDM - R

Colour options for JDM cars were

Champ White- red or black seats
Milano red - red or black Seats
Nighthawk black - red or black seats
Arctic blue - blue or black seats
Satin silver - red or black seats ( i think blue seats may have been an option too on silver cars)

Decided this afternoon, as much as I love the seats, They are simply a PITA to live with really.
Awesome support and comfrot, but awkward to get in and out of.
So, they are out, and the Recaro's go back in tomorrow :)

Cheers dude!
I said I was gonna clean it and add some pics, so here goes.
Prob millions too many but I dont actually care :D

Stoo
Please note this was not including any cleaning of interior, exterior plastics or glass, or the exhaust.....

great pictures, was the speakers/rear plastics/ selt belts hard to remove? im planning on removing mine this weekend if the weather is nice

Not really
I raised it about 10mm, then the rear got stripped, so there's now less weight hence the few mm extra height! lol

I shall re-lower soon and get the Geo adjusted to suit again...
