strut top mounts

Just finished fitting some new top mounts and arb drop links. Looked at the old ones when I'd finished and I noticed they were marked left hand and right hand. Not sure if I've put them on correctly now.
Does it matter if they are on the wrong side? It all went togeather ok and it looks ok but I'm a little worried now.
Don't fancy swapping them over.
