Supersprint vs OEM B Pipe`s

Messages

I found some pictures i took when i got my new supersprint b pipe and thought id post em up for anyone who wants to compare a silenced B pipe vs the aftermarket one. Even though the new pipe looks longer it does fit without any issues

Enjoy.

Interesting that this fits. Seems like this is the 924413 and not 924313?

haha I sign in to the forum from time to time and have a nosey around.

Been bloody busy these past few years. Actually that's a lie!

interesting I didnt know there where two part numbers? i ordered the supersprint pipe of ABP and got TGM to fit it, i wasnt aware of any problems

If the Supersprint part is longer than the stock part then how could it fit correctly? Is your tail pipe sticking out an extra 3-4 inches than normal? lol

924413 is for JDM models and the 924313 is the for European models. The difference between the two centre sections is the length.

I know thats what i was thinking! as i say i got it fitted at TGM and they didnt say it was wrong needed to be cut/modified etc. The backbox looks to still in the original position just makes you wonder why ABP seem to have the JDM spec ones?

Is very strange thanks for the info though unfortunalty i dont still have the packaging to verify the part number.

Bye bye back pressure and bye bye to what little low down torque the CTR's have then lol

I've just ordered a Supersprint B pipe from Revo Technik. (Seems weird as they are a VAG based company) for £194 including delivery.

How easy are these to fit? Presuming these are just straight bolts onto the cat then onto the back box. Surely it cant be that simple??? :)

it is, the PITA part is if the nuts won't budge. When i fitted my last cat back i had to cut a slot in the nuts and peel the nut off the thread.

3 nuts and bolts on the cat end, and 2 spring bolts on the backbox end

Hi Jon,

Yes Revo is a VAG specialist however we are also UK importers of Supersprint and have access to their full range, excluding BMW, Citroen, Mercedes and Peugeot.

It is that easy. But, my money is on the nuts from b pipe to cat being rusted to fcuk.

Came to fit it today. Every single bolt was rusted to fcuk. I had to take the whole exhaust off from the downpipe, then grind the ends off then drill through to get them out lol. Took 3 1/2 hours.

Worth it though!!!
