Tailgate help please.

Hi all. As the title suggests ive an issue with the boot on my ep3. In that it wont open any more. It was fine this morning but this afternoon for some reason I cant open it. Using the fob and the key I can hear the mechanism locking and unlocking but it wont open.
Any ideas? ??

i had this problem on both my ep3s i find that if i push the handle right back lock and unlock again it normally unlocks and opens.
its as if the handle gets wedged forwards.
