Has anyone got a TDI 3" exhaust with one of their cats fitted? I've see a few discussions about it and that they had to go from a 200 to 400 cel cat when testing to pass emissions testing, but can't find anything from anyone that might actually have one fitted.
I like the idea of a 400 over a 200 as much more likely to pass MOT, though I would have though the position of the cat would make it run cooler and not be as efficient so would like to know if anyone's spent their money then run one through an MOT.

Im 99% sure EP3 Pete had one on his EP3, as I think he acted as guinea pig for the MOT for TDI.

Based on Pete's later comments it doesn't work too well, as suspected it doesn't get hot enough and the 400cel still isn't enough.

I've got a Piper manifold at the moment, with their sports cat fitted it passes the emissions test fine so I'm sorted either way for now. Seems others have already tried to do what I'm doing which is fit a better flowing manifold and relocating the cat, though it appears not to be something worth investigating further.
