FN2 TDI North Tuning Package

Hi Chaps,

please don't set me on fire etc for starting a thread; I have checked via search, and it doesn't seem to have been asked yet, so here goes!

Has anyone had experience with the TDi North "ready made" tuning packages?

As a default it looks like they include a catback, new intake option (the most basic just being a drop in filter) and Hondata tuning.

http://tdi-north.myshopify.com/coll...-type-r-fn2-tuning-package?variant=1264004680

I do like the idea of fitting my own cat back (have done this on other cars) and intake, then getting them to do the remap, however the value of the package seems great when compared to buying/fitting myself then paying out £850 for the Hondata+remap afterwards.

Otherwise, most folk on here seem very knowledgeable, and retro-actively reading the owners journeys with specific vehicles has been awesome!

Thanks in advance!

And just had a new timing chain and a full service at tdi north on my ep3 they are top notch

Thanks for the reply dude :)

From reading I've done it looks like the fn2 would hit roughly 220 from the ecu remap, exhaust and intake; the ep3 looks to be a bit more, maybe 230 (again roughly).

Then 230 and 240 respectively if you add a mani into the mix.

I'm definitely not the authority on those numbers, they are just what I've picked up from reading.

Cheers I did price a turbo up and it was £6500
I got that look of the wife lol
But I will look into it cheers
