tegiwa heat shield confusion

I just fitted my new K & n typhoon , test drove it just now and sounds great.

i got it off of ebay and came with a tegiwa heat shield which i want to fit to avoid heat soak as much as possible. however i cant work out how or which way round it goes and have no instructions, ive searched online but found nothing.

can anyone help ?

Also my friend tells me i should reset the ecu by removing a fuse is this true ?

I've just fitted hks kit and also got the heatshield presuming it's the same heatshield it just fits on the rubber bungs that the standard air box was fitted to it's abit tight but will go on with a little force
