Tegiwa replica / ARC

But used GM's are coming down in price as a result of the release of the Tegiwa, or so it seems.

I've seen a couple around £350 (seeking a swap OEM box TBF), and a couple around £360-370. Better than the four-fif, people were asking a month or two ago.

GruppeM isn't overpriced at all.

It's always been ¥92,000, which is relative to the other intakes from Japan. When the Yen was 240=£1 then the GruppeM cost £380. Just because our £ isn't worth anything, doesn't mean products are 'overpriced'.

I've had pretty much every intake, apart from the Tegiwa, and can say the ARC was the best of the lot.

I have to say the whole GM is over priced arguement is ridiculous, in case none of you had noticed since EP3's now cost £3.50 and every bloody chav has got one the only thing that really makes us stand out from the pricks is the careful selection of good quality, high performing, import parts. GM, exotic, proven gains, well built and you wont find one next to a tacky typhoon kit in halfords.

lift up your bonnet with pride, built not bought remember - rant over :D

Take it easy Fred, it was only a question, I stand corrected. Cheers lads

I have had my ARC on for over a year now, and still love it. I am gonna take it off and I plan to anodise it to go with the new engine build and plans for the bay.... I would happily run one again over anything else.

Arc imported including freight and customs 480 odd quid

I paid £342 inc Vat & inc £30 delivery charge (FedEX) Delivery took about 10 days.

Only had to pay £28 Import Tax which was invoiced to me about 3-4 weeks later.

Total Cost £370. (about a month and half ago)

Good luck for getting it that price now. £432 + customs from RHD now.

Obviosuly the Pound to Yen isnt too good at the moment then!

Although if you choose EMS delivery which is the same speed as DHL/FedEx then the total cost is £399.71 inc vat. Then obviously if you get charged the same Import Tax that i did ( £28 ) then its still only going to cost you £427.71

That £399 isn't incuding VAT. VAT is part of the customs you pay, and £28 is low, so they must be marking it down in value.

We sell it for £390 inc shipping, then obviously it's a gamble whether you get stung on customs or not.
