Hi guys I'm after some coilovers as I want to do track days and drop the height of the car. How harsh are tein coilovers? How much harsher are they compared to standard

Well if they are the same as the ones for the ATR, super streets are just a little to soft still for track work but great for everyday road use.
 
Tein coilovers are very harsh on UK roads imo. Alot of it depends which settings you go for and how low you drop the car. Teins only drop 35mm max anyways.

On track they are great, on roads they are crap.
 
Depends on what you consider harsh, as ride comfort is a subjective.

Also, how low you want to drop your car?
If you want to drop it more than 35mm, worth looking into the MeisterR Zeta-R coilovers with the straight steering arms.

The straight steering arm relocate your track rod end and help prevent your track rod end from failing due to the lowering.
And this feature come standard so you do not need to spend extra money on inverted track rod end to get the same benefit.
