Not had my ep3 for long and noticed the temp gauge sits just below the halfway mark. Is this normal for these cars, or a sign the thermostat has seen better days?
 
Both my 8G's and my 9G is the same, and normal. The needle stops just under the wavy lines in the dial graphic.
