Terrible grinding noise and solid brake pedal

Hi guys, jumped in my Ep3 and went to drive off and there's a terrible grinding noise coming from the front right wheels area and my brake pedal is rock hard, has my caliper just clamped on the disc and seized? Would this cause my pedal to be solid?

Yes could be I had a solid brake pedal turned out to be the drivers side caliper was seized luckily I had a company local here who refurbished me the caliper with new seals etc within a day and charged 45 pounds or you will have to look in to get a second hand caliper hope that helps.
