Nice brochure but sorry to say that doesn't deserve a Type R badge. Whats with all the creature comforts? I thought Type R was supposed to be Raw and hardcore! Thats looks to Panzy like for me

Thanks for posting Jamie. 8)

No probs, it took me long enough to scan it in, I had to battle with the Xmas tree and the pine needles sticking up my ass. The scanner is in the cupboard next to the tree BTW

"With our engineers constant need to make the car more refined"

That will not go down well in Japan.

I think its a disaster for Honda and will kill the GTi market for them.

Is this model actually been confirmed in Japan yet :?:

I thought they may be getting a 4 door version.

I think the spec level is all wrong, its just setup to get more pennies out of people to buy things they don't want.

I'm not paying £18K for a car that doesn't have a/c, but why the hell would I want cruise control on a Type R

I suppose if you want Raw you buy the £17K model that's special order, no headunit, parcel shelf etc.

I really like it me. just like the design

But cant suss the options..body coloured sills and front and rear bits?> Thought they were anyway. and on the small pics i think they look better with black lower front bumper etc as brakes it up a bit.

I thought the Japanese were getting the Asian 4 door model (built in Thailand) which was at the F1 in Japan this year.
Personally I hope its a flop, and they release a proper Type R sooner.
but no doubt it will sell in the 1000's due to Mr 2.2 kids wanting a sports hatch. A true type r is too specialised and raw for JOE PUBLIC

After seeing the brochure I have a funny feeling it's gonna sell by the bucket load in the UK. Japan, I'm not so sure as they like their cars raw, not refined.

Spot on imo :!:

The various bits look alright, but the rear end picture on page 32 is sooooooooooooooo ugly!!

I guess this is the case when the total is actually less than the sum of its parts!
