Hi all, Just introducing myself and showing you folks the different stages i've gone through with my EP3. It's an SI, so i started with the economy 5 speed box, k20A3 engine and a ride height that rivals a jeep Liberty. Being the Mod head that i am, the car didnt last a week before i started installing new parts, and as time progressed, more parts and more parts came.

before my EP3 though, this is what i was working with. An 83' Corolla with Carb issues, an 89' Supra Turbo with a blown headgasket and spun rod bearings, and an 87' RX-7 Vert'.. <--- Doesn't like cold starts. Hence the purchase of the 'NEW' car lol

so first day

also right after i purchased my car i brought a friend to pick up his AP2

my car came with an aftermarket exhaust, 60mm Skunk2 and an AEM V2 intake. I hated both

So 3 days after ownership, i went out and picked up these Tein S tech springs

then i pulled the center console and painted it black and installed a new pioneer head unit

few weeks later i picked up this front spoiler from EBay, fitment was okay but i just hated that it was a knock off of the Kaminari Lip kit.

got tired of the drone on the skunk2 pipe, so i brought it to a friend's shop and had it chopped off in space of a new quiet unit.

then came time for the first makeover, painted the front lip, bought new wheels, made custom tow hooks, and powder coated a bunch of stuff.

then i got new wheels and figured i'd do something crazy

i wanted to have the car lower than what the springs gave me, so i went in search of coilovers, being in school and ll, i was on a budget, so i found out about this company called Raceland, i said screw it i'll give it a try, they were new so the prices were crazy, basically got a full set of one piece coilovers for $260USD shipped to my door, thats the price of replacing two rear struts lol

then i upgraded i think to a better spoiler, it's done here alot recently, but this was about two years ago, someone on the forums found that with a little persuasion, we can fit the spoiler from a volvo 740 or 940 from the 90-94 era.

i was trying to save for a new motor for my supra, but all the modding with the civic was so fun that the car just sat, my dad then told me that if i wasnt going to do anything with it i should get it out the yard, and on this day, i shed tears because the supra had a special place with me, it was just too expensive for me to keep at the time.

i had plans to go with a built motor and forged internals because i was at a point with the A3 that i wasnt going to make more power where it would be worth it, so i sold the turbo kit, picked up some bolt ons and felt like i was back to the beginning, i was lost.

then i started hanging out with a now good friend of mine who inspired me to get things going in the right direction. One vision, one theme, no more random BS.

there are a ton of other things i did with the car.. but i will leave with the direction i'm headed. rightfully, i want the car to be an enthusiast's vehicle, which means true roots honda tuning, no turbos, no superchargers, just all motor with a tight suspension and a killer exhaust note. with that said, here is the setup currently

I like what you have done in the past as well. the orange wheels looked much better than I thought they would have.

are you going to put honda alloys back on the car for the true honda look?

yes, ideally i would love to have a set of graphite 2005 DC5R wheels but if not i guess i can always settle for the DC5S wheels .. which i had borrowed from a friend once before and i love the look

My favourite pick of your past wheels has to be the OZ's. They looked awesome :cool: the Mugen wing sets the whole thing off nicely :)
