Tie Rod Ends

Simple question - Are the tie rod ends different for the EP3 and DC5?? Reason I ask, is my DC5 tie rod ends did not fit properly into the AST coilovers (EP3 AST coilovers) due to the taper being larger. EP3 ones have been ordered to solve the problem.

My DC5 had Bilstein coilovers on, and its possible that it had some aftermarket tie rod ends fitted.

EP3 and DC5 Tie rod ends are different yes.

I was going to have to order DC5 Tie rod Ends to fit HKS Hypermax suspension from a Dc5.

Any idea on the cost of new EP3 tie ends??

If I had more time (and £££) I would have gone for the inverted ones.

I was also told this on the ITR-DC5 forum;

you will also need to fit spacers to the lower rear damper mount as the ep is narrower (from memory 2x 1mm stainless washers 1 either side)
