Toda have just released some pictures of their new ITB's for the K20 engines.
They will be available from next March and the price is TBA.

TDi North will have the first examples in the UK for testing shortly. 8)

woah i hope the k20 can use this to its advantage and boost some midrange, should be quite a good price too but knowing toda...

There is normally a filter placed over the throttle bodies themselves

These are not the TODA ones but idea is the same, obviously u can run them without filter but they may pick up particles etc etc

aint paul got one fitted to his.............. (tdi north)

You mean the ones sitting on the bench?

He did have a set of Jenvey ones that were off th eold Britcar Civic. They were great. Bags more midrange. Ideal for a track car.

We will have a set fitted to one of the cars very soon for testing. Doubt if it will be Paul's as he now has the K24. 8)

Just a thought - the K24 testing thread in this section is all about the K24 block with a K20 head on, true? 8)

If so then a K20 head with TODA ITB's mounted on a K24 block would possibly be the ultimate in N/A porn!!!!!!

So that makes them around £1200 without fitting etc etc

wonder what they will retail for in the UK ?

Be interesting to see the results

Pete, do you know what size Kieser's TB's were? Forty something mm springs to mind (i'm talking diameter here, as in Toda = 50mm)???

Price wise I'll take a guesstimate at ~£1500

What's the different uses of the 33mm and the 63mm versions?

I'm guessing the 33mm version will allow enough space for a filter to be fitted, whereas the 63mm version perhaps won't. I.e. 33mm for road use, 63mm for outright race use? That's just a guess though.

Or perhaps that should read, you can only run a thin filter with one set and a thicker filter with the other set???

I'm sure trumpet length will also affect performance as well. Remeber the old Weber Twin 40's and 45's etc
